Overview
CloudMeridian serves engineering teams who found enterprise observability tools too complex and expensive for their scale. We built a lightweight SaaS combining deployment tracking, uptime monitoring, and cost visibility in one dashboard.
The Challenge
Small teams cobbled together free-tier tools for monitoring, deployment history, and cost tracking, with no single place to correlate a deployment with a subsequent incident or cost spike.
The Solution
We built a platform that ingests deployment events, uptime checks, and cloud billing data into a single timeline, so teams can see a deployment, an incident, and a cost change side by side. Alerting integrates with common chat tools, and a lightweight status page generator is included for customer-facing uptime communication.
Key Features
- Unified timeline correlating deployments, incidents, and cost changes
- Synthetic uptime monitoring with configurable check intervals
- Cloud cost ingestion and anomaly flagging
- Chat-integrated alerting for incidents and deploy failures
- Public status page generator per project
- Team-based access control and audit log
Results
- Helped teams correlate incidents with deployments in minutes rather than hours
- Reduced reliance on multiple free-tier point tools
- Flagged cloud cost anomalies before they became a recurring monthly surprise
- Simplified customer-facing uptime communication via generated status pages
